I have come to realize that I knew nothing about life 10 years ago and what I know now will seem like nothing in another 10. I used to think that I was better off being by myself because it was so hard for me to meet new people or be myself in a crowd. I am still scared shitless half the time but I have come to realize that I need people around me! Wow... How to summarize my life in one paragraph (I guess everyone here complains about that). I'll try to give some basics and leave the rest for you to find out. I grew up in Brooklyn Park, MN. I used to run Cross-country, ski, and wrestle in H.S. I went to Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA until I graduated with a BA in Business and Communications. I bought a Bar and Grill and stayed in MV until this last year when I sold it. I am definately much more relaxed and less stressed now that I'm not running a restaurant. I'm excited to be back home to Minnesota close to my family and old friends, but do miss a lot of the people back in Iowa. I love to travel and visit new places. On to more about me! I am a huge nerd. I love all things renaissance, sci-fi, fantasy, medieval, anime, futuristic, and nearly everything relating to video games in general. I am one of those people always making references to something else, as annoying as some may find it I think I am hilarious most of the time and if I can amuse myself for a moment, I am happy. I love to read and write. I also enjoy camping, hiking, bonfires, and being outdoors at night in general.

Random side note, I am OBSESSED with socks! I love socks more than any sane person should. If I could wear a new pair of socks every day for the rest of my life I would die happy. I love the feeling of a new pair of socks the way they hug your feet, it is so comfortable. The only time I can honestly say I hate socks is when they are wet or smelly, any other time socks are an easy way to make me smile. Also, don't get me wrong, this is NOT a foot fetish, I am just proclaiming my love for socks.

I am really no good at this, I guess if you wanted to know more about me, you would just have to message me and ask for yourself because I don't think a paragraph or two could sum of twenty-two years of ANYTHING properly.

Um lets see its kinda hard to describe myself kind of a dork I would say just cause I am I like playing with my dog,fishing,camping,oh I am also really shy when it comes to meeting people very laid back willing to try anything once

I always wonder what to say in these sorts of summaries. On one hand, I could talk about my enjoyment of container gardening, biking, playing cards, being geeky('specially with old computers), cooking, reading, following current events(touching a new newspaper cheers me up), and have a generally boring but non-objectionable profile.

Or, I could talk about the wacky, politically incorrect positions I take, and how I'm quite willing to defend absolute nutjobs if I agree with their position this time.

Or, I could randomly jump around, attempting and likely failing at being humorous in my limited way. (As a side note, I find it's awfully difficult to be funny on a site where you have no idea of the mood of your reader, and have limited ability to do anything about it, and no ability to adjust the humor to fit the person's response.)

Or, I could talk about how I assume people who can't spell or use decent grammar are stupid and offensive to the intelligence of the human species. (Ranting is fun!)

Instead I'll ramble on endlessly, hopefully providing you with a brief look into my soul, and hope that you're not offended by what I wrote because of misunderstanding what I was aiming at. Or at least that you're willing to message me about what you find wrong in my profile.
